I paint Miniature Paintings where 1 inch = 1 foot. Also I paint in Full Size as big as 3 feet by 4 feet!

   My medium in miniature paintings is soft pastel. Soft Pastels are like painting with dust and a bit of binder or as I like to think of it - the dust on butterfly wings!

  Soft Pastel also known as chalk is a difficult and challenging medium when done at full size. In miniature it is extremely demanding.  

 

 I paint one of a kind reproductions of old master paintings . I do replications of paintings that were done originally in pastel or that translate well into pastel.

 

I also paint my original subject matter  in miniature.

In my full size paintings I paint in the mediums of soft pastel and acrylic.
